The Egyptian pyramids are ancient architectural structures pyramid-shaped and located in Egypt. The most famous pyramids are the necropolis at Giza, on the outskirts of Cairo. Several of them are the largest buildings ever built. The largest of these is the Great Pyramid of Giza.
